ATHENS, Ga. -- The No. 8 Auburn gymnastics team beat No. 10 Georgia for the second-consecutive season as the squad totaled a season-high score in Stegeman Coliseum, defeating the Bulldogs, 197.325-197.275.

Auburn's team total also set a new program-record road score, breaking the 197.125 set at LSU two weeks ago. Individually, the Tigers (7-5, 4-3 SEC) set or tied 11 season or career highs on the night.

"The win tonight just shows how far this program has come," head coach Jeff Graba said. "It's hard to win here and it's hard to win on the road in the SEC. I think tonight's results says that we're a viable contender to be a top tier program."

Auburn opened the meet on bars and totaled a 49.350 as a team. Sophomore Abby Milliet captured the event title with a career-best 9.950, while senior Kait Kluz set a season-high of 9.900. Freshman Samantha Cerio tied her career score with a 9.850 and freshman Taylor Krippner and senior Caitlin Atkinson capped scoring with a 9.825 apiece.
