In the second of a nine-part installment, AuburnTigers.com asked nine questions of the returning and incoming members of the 2016-17 Auburn women's golf team. Next up: sophomore Mai Dechathipat.

1. What are you doing this summer?

Mai: I'm currently taking 2 summer courses, therefore, I'll be around Auburn for a bit. After that, I'll go back to Thailand and play some tournaments.

2. What's the strangest/funniest thing you've ever seen on the golf course?

Mai: Iguana in Puerto Rico, they're everywhere. Alligators in Florida.

3. Your dream foursome ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" who are the three people you would want to play 18 holes with, and why?

Mai: Tiger Woods; he's the best. Moe Norman; they said he hit very, very straight. Annika Sorenstam; best women's golfer.

4. What do you do to get away from golf and school? What's your escape in your down time?

Mai: Relax with my puppies, be at home with my family. We usually take a vacation to the beach.

5. What was it about Auburn that made it stand out above other schools you considered?

Mai: I loved the facility, the tradition and its atmosphere.

6. If you could play any other sport, what would it be?

Mai: Probably swimming.

7. What is your favorite Auburn tradition?

Mai: Rolling Toomer's Corner!

8. Is there a golfer whose game you have tried to emulate, or have you developed your own game?

Mai: I want to have the mental toughness of Tiger Woods, putting like Jordan Speith and hitting like Rory McIlroy and Jason Day.

9. Golf courses: what's the toughest course you've played, your favorite course that you've played, and one that you most want to play?

Mai: I don't know the toughest one. They are all different. But the ones I enjoy are probably the ones with hills and beautiful grass, like The Bridges, FarmLinks, Rochester and so many more.
