AUBURN, Ala. -- The Auburn cross country team will open up the 2016 season when it travels to Oxford, Ala., to compete in the JSU Strut's Opener on September 2.
The Tigers start the season with meets in three consecutive weeks. After the JSU Strut's Opener, Auburn will travel to Greenville, S.C., for the Furman Classic, followed by a trip to Nashville to face off against Vanderbilt September 17.
Auburn will return to action after a week off, October 1 at the Louisville Classic and then wrap up the regular season on October 14 at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The SEC Championships will be in Fayetteville, Ark., on October 28, followed by the NCAA South Regional in Tallahassee, Fla., on November 11 where the Tigers will compete for a chance to advance to the NCAA Cross Country National Championships in Terra Haute, Ind., on November 19.
