AUBURN, Ala. -- The Southeastern Conference announced its SEC Network schedule for the 2016 soccer and volleyball seasons on Tuesday.
The Auburn soccer team will make four appearances on SEC Network beginning with its first league match of the season. The Tigers will take on Vanderbilt, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. CT. Auburn's matches at home vs. South Carolina (Sept. 18, 6 p.m.) and on the road at LSU (Oct. 20, 6 p.m.) and at Texas A&M (Oct. 23, 5 p.m.) will also air on SEC Network.
In addition, the remaining nine regular season matches held at the Auburn Soccer Complex will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
Six of Auburn volleyball's matches will be aired on national TV, starting with the squad's home tilt vs. the 2015 SEC champion Texas A&M. The Tigers and the Aggies will face off at 2 p.m. CT, Sept. 25, on ESPNU. Two additional home matches will be broadcast on SEC Network -- Georgia (Oct. 12, 7 p.m.) and Mississippi State (Oct. 16, 12 p.m.).
The Tigers will play two road contests on ESPNU, facing Ole Miss (Oct. 19, 8 p.m.) and Alabama (Nov. 9, 5 p.m.). Auburn closes out its regular season road slate at Florida, Nov. 23, and will take on the Gators live on SEC Network at 7 p.m.
Volleyball will also have 11 home matches in Auburn Arena featured on SEC Network+.
Extensive coverage of SEC soccer and volleyball continues for the third year on SEC Network. SEC Network +, the digital extension of SEC Network available on WatchESPN, is set to feature more than 250 matchups from across the league, with an additional 50 soccer games and 80 volleyball games slated for the SEC Network television channel and ESPNU. National coverage of the two sports has quintupled since SEC Network's launch in 2014 and more than 300 games will be nationally available this season. This year's schedule also includes one soccer and four volleyball wildcard games on SEC Network.
