AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn women's soccer team will take to the field on Saturday night when it travels to Mercer for a road exhibition. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. in Macon, Ga.

The two teams have met six times in program history, with the Tigers holding a commanding 19-3 margin in goal scored. In two previous matches at Mercer, Auburn has amassed eight goals and surrendered just one.

In last year's exhibition, Courtney Shell opened the scoring with a goal in the 28th minute from a corner by Samantha Solaru. The Bears went on to take a 2-1 decision, though the result did not officially count.

The Tigers ride into the matchup after earning a 2-2 draw against Alabama on Thursday night. Ellie Leek and Taylor Troutman each chimed in with a goal, while Brooke Ramsier and Dani Solaru picked up assists in the contest.

Sarah Le Beau got the nod in goal and contributed one save.

At the conclusion of the matchup with the Bears, Auburn will have six days to prepare before officially opening the 2016 slate versus Clemson. The game is scheduled to being at 7 p.m. at the Auburn Soccer Complex, Aug. 19.
