Jessica Glover, a 2008 All-SEC performer, finished her Auburn career as one of the program's top power hitters. The outside hitter played for the Tigers from 2005-08 and concluded her four seasons with 1,137 kills to rank eighth in program history. Her 3.17 kills/set average also ranks in the Top 10.

As a senior in 2008, Glover led the young Auburn team with 410 kills and a 3.45 average. In 2006, she totaled 26 kills as a sophomore in a five-set win at Georgia (9/17) and that mark is third-most in a single match during the rally era.

AU: When did you graduate and what was your major?
JG: I graduated December 2008 with a degree in Psychology.

AU: What are you currently doing now?
JG: I am in the United States Army.

AU: How had being a student-athlete prepare you for life after Auburn?
JG: Having to juggle the crazy schedule of both school and sport helped me to become disciplined, which is a skill that I rely heavily on today.

AU: Favorite memory as an athlete?
JG: Beating Bama for the first time in my collegiate career and rolling Toomer's Corner.

AU: Favorite memory as a student (favorite class/place on campus/etc.)?
JG: The Iron Bowl.

AU: We are big on the Auburn Family here. What does that phrase mean to you?
JG: Knowing that wherever I go I will forever be a part of something bigger than myself, which represents my Auburn Family.

AU: What made you decide to come to Auburn?
JG: The atmosphere made me feel right at home. Everyone is friendly and easy going. The decision was made once I stepped foot on campus.

AU: You finished your career as one of the top hitters in program history. What was your favorite part about being a power hitter?
JG: It was celebrating with my teammates after putting a ball away. That feeling I got after coming together with my teammates always pumped me up and made my next kill that much more powerful.

AU: What was your favorite road trip as a student-athlete?
JG: Going to Bama. It seemed that every game and practice was to prepare to beat Bama. It didn't matter if we lost or won all season (although it did lol). It came down to beating Bama for us.The environment is always crazy, but it's something about knowing that they want to beat you that makes it more exciting to play.

AU: If you had any advice for incoming Auburn volleyball players, what would it be?
JG: Practice hard, play hard, enjoy college. Although you are an athlete and much of your time is taken up by volleyball and school, don't forget to enjoy college. Enjoy your time because those four years go by fast and you not only want to be successful in both volleyball and school but you want to develop great memories that you will remember for a lifetime.
