AUBURN, Ala. - Two Auburn players who haven't taken a snap in Jordan-Hare Stadium, plus some of the football team's most familiar faces, are on the watch list for the Senior Bowl that was announced Tuesday.
Newcomers T.J. Neal, a transfer from Illinois who plays linebacker; and Marshall Taylor, a transfer from Miami of Ohio who plays defensive back, made the watch list with some of Auburn's most established players
Also named to the watch list were defensive back Rudy Ford, who has led Auburn in tackles each of the last two season; guard Alex Kozan and tackle Robert Leff; and defensive linemen Montravius Adams and Devaroe Lawrence.
Ford, Kozan and Adams had already won preseason honors.
Ford is on the watch list for Bednarik Award, which recognizes college football's best defensive player; and the Paul Hornung Award, which recognizes the game's most versatile player. Adams is on the watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, another top defensive award; as well as the Outland Trophy, which recognizes the best interior lineman in the country.
Kozan is also on the watch list for the Outland.
