AUBURN, Ala. - Riding a six-match match winning streak, the No. 11 Auburn soccer program will look to continue its impressive form when it travels to LSU for a conference clash on Thursday night. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. on the SEC Network.

Auburn (11-4-0, 7-1-0, SEC) has faced LSU (7-9-0. 2-6-0) 25 times in series history and holds a 16-8-1 edge. The orange and blue Tigers have won the last six meetings, including two in Baton Rouge, La.

In last year's 3-2 overtime win versus LSU, Casie Ramsier headed home the match-winner in the 103rd minute en route to being named the National Player of the Week in 2015.

Auburn most recently defeated No. 12 Arkansas last Friday night, 3-2. Six different players recorded at least one point in the 90-minute affair, with Kristen Dodson, Brooke Ramsier and Casie Ramsier notching goals.

Casie Ramsier was tabbed as the SEC Offensive Player of the Week. She was responsible for netting the game-winner versus the Razorbacks. The Dallas, Texas native now has nine career game-winning goals, which is tied for third on the program's all-time chart.

Auburn has already reached seven conference wins for the fifth time in school history and the first time in back-to-back calendar years. The Tigers could reach eight wins for the second time in program history as the 2004 team went 9-0-2 in league play.

Auburn continues its road swing following its contest at LSU with a trip to Texas A&M on Sunday. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. and will be televised on the SEC Network.

Player to Watch: Kristen Dodson

Junior forward Kristen Dodson is having a career year for the Tigers. She currently leads the team with 10 goals and is tied for the team lead in assists with six. Dodson's team-best 26 points is currently tied for third in the conference, while her five game-winning goals total sits in second place in the SEC. During the team's six-match winning streak, Dodson has tallied seven goals, including three match-winners, and three assists.

An Auburn Win Would...

A win by Auburn would give the Tigers their first ever seven-match win streak in program history. Auburn would move to 21 points in SEC play, marking the second-highest total achieved in one season (2004 team - 27 points).

Inside the Series: LSU

Auburn has outscored LSU 50-26 in the all-time series, however the margin is much tighter in Baton Rouge at 15-14 in favor of the orange and blue Tigers. Auburn has amassed eight shutouts against their counterparts and has accumulated three in the past five matchups with LSU.

Breaking Down the Streak

Auburn's six-game winning streak has come at a perfect time in the 2016 season. The Tigers have outscored opponents 16-5, including 11-2 in the second half, and have totaled three shutouts. Ten different players have recorded at least one point with seven of those finding the back of the net.

Road Warriors

The Tigers have started a perfect 5-0-0 away from home this season. In those five matches, Auburn has outscored the opposition 14-6 in wins at South Alabama, Samford, Florida, Georgia and Kentucky. The start is the best of its kind in program history. In 2004, the team started 3-0-1 in its first four matches and went on to finish 6-0-2 away from home.
