AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn's Montravius Adams has accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl and will join teammate Rudy Ford in Mobile for the Jan. 28. game.

The defensive end has filled up the Auburn stat sheet this season with sacks, blocked kicks, an interception and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. He can add to his totals in the Tigers' yet-to-be-announced bowl game.

Adams has 8½ tackles for a loss, including 4½ sacks. He's blocked two kicks. He's intercepted a pass. He scored a touchdown against Mississippi State on one of his two fumble recoveries.

"He's a different player this year," coach Gus Malzahn earlier this month. "He was a really good player before, but he's really raised his level. He's becoming a man. He's growing up. He's more mature with his approach to practice and games. He's one of our best players. He's an impact player."

The Senior Bowl will likely add more Auburn players in the coming weeks.
