AUBURN, Ala. -- Kamryn Pettway had plenty of help on his way to his post-season honors.
The Auburn running back and his two of his offensive lineman were among five Tigers who named to the Associated Press' All-SEC first team Thursday. Joining Pettway as a first-teamer were offensive lineman Braden Smith and Alex Kozan; defensive lineman Montravius Adams; and place-kicker Daniel Carlson.
Another offensive lineman, Robert Leff, was named to the AP All-second team along with defensive lineman Carl Lawson.
Pettway, Carlson and Lawson were named the coaches' All-SEC first team Tuesday. Smith, Kozan and Adams were named second team by the coaches.
Pettway had an October to remember with 770 rushing yards in just four games. He's rushed for 1,123 yards and leads the SEC in yards per game, averaging 124.8 yards per outing. He missed two games late in the season with a leg injury, didn't get a carry in the opener and saw limited action in another.
Smith, Kozan and Leff were honored for helping pave the way.
Carlson leads the SEC in scoring, and has hit 26 of 30 field goal tries. He was one of three finalists for the Lou Groza Award, which honors the nation's top kicker. The winner of that award was to be announced Thursday night.
Adams did a little bit of everything with 39 tackles including 8½ for a loss with 4½ sacks. He also intercepted a pass and recovered two fumbles, one for a scoop and score.
Lawson leads Auburn with 12½ tackles for a loss and nine sacks.
