AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn will play host to Alabama State in the 2021 football season as the Tigers continue to show a willingness to play schools within the state.
Alabama State announced Friday the second-ever meeting between the schools. Auburn and Alabama State are also scheduled to play in 2018. Circle the date for this new game: It's scheduled for Nov. 20, 2021.
The Tigers have shown a willingness to keep non-conference money in state. Auburn is playing Alabama A&M this season. The Tigers played Jacksonville State last season. Auburn played Samford in 2014.
