Auburn, Ala. - The Auburn football team will play a home-and-home series with Penn State in 2021 and 2022, Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs announced Monday.
Auburn will travel to State College, Pa., to face Penn State in Beaver Stadium on Sept. 18, 2021, before hosting the Nittany Lions in Jordan-Hare Stadium on Sept. 17, 2022.
"This is another great opportunity for our players and fans to be part of something special," Auburn Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs said. "Bringing together elite programs rich in tradition is what college football is all about. We look forward to this home-and-home series with Penn State."
Auburn and Penn State have split two previous meetings. The Tigers defeated the Nittany Lions in the 2003 Capital One Bowl, in Orlando, 13-9, in the last meeting between the two programs.
This will mark the first time Auburn has played a Big Ten opponent during the regular season.
