AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn's first road game of the season will kick off in the morning Oct. 8 in Starkville.

The game at Mississippi State will begin at 11 a.m. and will be televised by the SEC Network, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday.

Auburn's first five games had a familiar ring: All at home in Jordan-Hare Stadium, and mostly at night. The Tigers will play their first day game this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. against Louisiana-Monroe for homecoming. It will be televised by the SEC Network Alternate channel.

Auburn is 2-2. Louisiana-Monroe is 1-2.

Mississippi State is 2-2, and is off this week before playing host to Auburn.
