Auburn opens Commodore Invite with three personal bests

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Senior Teray Smith won the men's 200m with a time of 21.22 and Auburn track and field set three personal bests on day one of the Commodore Invitational in Nashville, Friday.

Senior Jasmine Manigault finished fourth in the women's weight throw with a personal best 64-10/19.76m. Brianna Heilsnis finished seventh with a throw of 59.0.75/18.00m.

In her first meet at Auburn, graduate transfer Sara Almen finished second in the women's high jump, clearing 5-7.25/1.71m.

Chris Stone also posted a personal best in the men's pole vault with a 15-11/4.85m. The sophomore from Penn. finished fourth overall.

Michaela Creighton crushed her previous personal best of 18-4.5/5.60m in the women's long jump, finishing fifth with a 19-7.5/5.98m. Mark Rubalcaba finished fourth in the men's long jump with a 24-6.25/7.47m.
