AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" The Auburn equestrian team was recognized last week at the USEF (United States Equestrian Federation) Annual Meetings for its run to the 2016 NCEA National Championship.
"It is always a wonderful experience to be honored by our national governing body, the USEF, alongside the NCEA Executive Director, Leah Fiorentino," head coach Greg Williams said. "I'm very proud of what our team and Auburn coaches Jessica Braswell and Mary Meneely have accomplished."
The USEF Annual Meeting takes place in Lexington, Ky., every January and the 2017 event was held Jan. 11-14. The USEF hosted a luncheon Saturday, presenting awards to all collegiate champions in 2016. USEF President Murray Kessler honored the Auburn coaching staff, while NCEA Executive Director Leah Fiorentino also attended the event.
