AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" No. 14 Auburn women's tennis bounced back after a tough loss yesterday to defeat Yale, 4-1 at the ITA National Indoor Championships in Rocky Hill, Conn. on Saturday.

"It was good for us to bounce back and get a good win against Yale today," Auburn head coach Lauren Spencer said. "I was proud of how well we played at the top of our lineup and I look forward to seeing us compete again tomorrow."

The Tigers got back on track in doubles, winning on courts two and three to clinch the point. No. 35 Georgie Axon and Caroline Turner got things started with a 6-1 victory over Amy Yang and Opala Dhingra of Yale on court three.

No. 37 duo Alannah Griffin and Andie Dikosavljevic clinched the doubles point on court two with a 6-4 victory over Caroline Lynch and Tina Jiang.

In singles, Auburn picked up wins on the top three courts to clinch the victory. No. 28 Allie Michaud was first of the court with a 6-0, 6-1 win on court one. The junior leads the team with 18 singles wins on the season.

Dikosavljevic followed up with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Jiang on court two and No. 98 Russo clinched the match on court three, winning 7-5, 6-2 over Amy Yang.

The Tigers will finish up play at the ITA National Indoor Championships tomorrow. The opponent and time will be announced later tonight.
