LEADING OFF
- Auburn opens mid-week action with two games against Jacksonville State on Tuesday and a Wednesday visit from Florida A&M. First pitch for both games is 3 p.m. CT.
- Both games will be broadcast on WatchESPN/SECN+ with Andy Burcham and former Tiger Scott Sullivan on the call.

QUICK HITTERS
- Auburn picked up a 9-0 win over GW on Opening Day, the seventh consecutive season opening win for the Tigers. Keegan Thompson pitched six scoreless in his first outing since May 30, 2015.
- There are 20 new players on the Auburn roster for 2017, the most in the Southeastern Conference.
- Auburn posted back-to-back shutouts to open a season for the first time since 1928.
- Keegan Thompson became the first Auburn pitcher to make two Opening Day starts (2015 & 2017) in his career since Levale Speigner started the 2002-03 openers. Thompson is just the fourth man since 1994 to start multiple openers (Ryan Halla 1995-96, Hayden Gliemmo 1999-00-01).
- Senior Daniel Robert batted .500 (8-for-16) and pitched 1.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts on opening weekend. He has reached base in 19 straight in which he has a PA since 3/13/16.
- Auburn opens the 2017 season with 22 games at home, the most for the Tigers in program history. The Tigers play 36 total games at home in 2017.
- The Auburn pitching staff recorded only five walks in 27 IP on the weekend with a 2.50 ERA.
SERIES HISTORY
- Auburn leads the all-time series with Jacksonville State 20-16 including 17-13 in games at Plainsman Park. The two teams first met in 1972 and split a pair of games in 2015. The Tigers are 3-0 all-time against Florida A&M including a 11-2 win on the Plains in 2016.
LOOKING AHEAD
- Auburn hosts Patriot League preseason favorite Holy Cross for three games at Plainsman Park from Friday-Sunday. First pitch Friday is 2 pm.

- The East Coliseum Lot, Athletics Complex lot and top two levels of the Stadium Deck are available for baseball parking on Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday. All lots are available on Saturday and Sunday.
- The stadium deck is available for parking and game viewing. Parking is limited to top two levels.
- Fans are permitted to bring empty plastic bottles in for free water refills.
- A cell phone charging station is available to fans near the front gate adjacent to the promotions booth.
- Grass areas around the park and adjacent parking lots are open and available for tailgating.
