Auburn will bring back three individuals and one relay for the final session of the 2017 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday at the IU Natatorium.
Joe Patching will swim in the consolation finals of the 200 back after clocking the third-fastest time (1:40.43)of his career to qualify 14th.
Zach Apple will swim in the consolation finals of the 100 free after qualifying 14th in 42.49. Peter Holoda just missed a night-time swim, finishing 19th in 42.66 as it took a 42.52 to earn a return tonight.
Michael Duderstadt tied for 15th in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 1:54.13, which is the 11th-fastest performance in school history and the third-fastest of his career. Tommy Brewer finished 19th in 1:54.85, now the 12th-best performance in school history.
Auburn's 400 free relay qualified 10th with a 2:50.03 time from Apple (42.80), Holoda (42.12), Ziv Kalontarov (43.11) and Kyle Darmody (42.00).
Saturday's final session begins at 5 p.m. and will also include the 1650 free and platform diving finals.
