Auburn Enter Regular Season Finale Ranked 20th

AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" The Auburn gymnastics team caps the regular season this Friday and enter competition at No. 20 in the RoadToNationals.com rankings.

"We're preparing to send our seniors off the right way and getting ready for the postseason," head coach Jeff Graba said. "We have work to do, but the opportunity is still in front of us."

Oklahoma ranks No. 1, while LSU and Florida enter the week at spots two and three. UCLA and Utah close out the Top 5. SEC competitors Alabama and Georgia rank No. 6 and No. 7, respectively.

Auburn remains in the Top 25 in all four events. The team is 14th on bars with a 49.145 RQS and moves up to 19th on beam with a 49.075 average. Behind a season-best performance on floor at Missouri last week, Auburn ranks tied for 20th in the event at 49.115. The Tigers have a 49.000 RQS on vault for 22nd nationally.

Auburn caps the regular season with a non-conference meet vs. Pittsburgh in Auburn Arena. The Tigers and the Panthers square off at 7 p.m. CT, March 10, and the meet will serve as Auburn's Senior Night. The team will honor Kullen Hlawek, Kelsey Kopec, MJ Rott, and Lucia Scaglione prior to the meet.
