AUBURN, Ala. - No. 14 Georgia posted a 4-0 win over No. 48 Auburn in men's tennis Saturday afternoon at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs took the doubles point with wins on courts two and three, and Georgia won the first set of all six singles matches. The Bulldogs went on to post straight-set wins on courts five, two and one to clinch the match.

"Obviously, it's a really good Georgia team. I told the guys going in we had nothing to lose but we needed to go out there and play like they had nothing to lose. Looking up and down the courts, we allowed them to get ahead early and then it's easy for them to play downhill. We will learn from that," Auburn coach Bobby Reynolds said.

The Tigers are now 12-10 overall, and 3-5 in SEC play. Georgia is now 13-6 and 9-0 in SEC action.

Auburn continues its homestand next weekend with two more SEC matches, hosting LSU Friday at 3 p.m. and Texas A&M Sunday at noon. All home matches are at the Yarbrough Tennis Center (771 Yarbrough Farms Blvd., Auburn) and admission is free.
