COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Carmyn Greenwood notched two hits for the No. 7 Auburn softball team in a 3-0 defeat to South Carolina. Despite falling in the series finale Sunday, the Tigers (39-8, 12-6 SEC) still claimed the series after winning the previous contests Friday and Saturday.

"When you go on the road, you've got to be able to handle the adversity and you've got to be able to handle the one momentum swing that you're going to get," said assistant coach Scott Woodard. "We didn't do that today. We didn't give ourselves an opportunity to [win]."
