AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" The Auburn equestrian added Caroline Hudon and Helen Ulrich to the incoming freshman class for 2017-18, head coach Greg Williams announced Wednesday.
"Helen (Ulrich) has been very dominant in junior hunters and, with a more recent focus on her equitation, she is setting herself up well to contribute to the Auburn team," Williams said. "She is very competitive, hardworking and is a team player so we are excited that she chose Auburn."
"I have known Caroline (Hudon) for a number of years," Williams added. "She is a hometown girl with a passion for horses that has pushed her traveling on the national circuit. We have had the opportunity to see her ride on a number of occasions through camps and clinics as well as the circuit so we know what to expect from her on college horses. We are very excited Caroline is going to stay here in Auburn to be on this team."
