AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn (13-14, 3-9 SEC) will face 28th-ranked Ole Miss Thursday morning in the second round of the SEC men's tennis championships at Tennessee.

The Tigers, seeded No. 11, will face No. 6-seed Ole Miss Thursday in an 8 a.m. CT match. The winner of that contest will play No. 3 Florida on Friday, also at 8 a.m. CT.

Semifinal action is set for Saturday at 9 a.m. CT and the SEC championship match will be Sunday, April 30, at noon CT.

"I think we're ready and I like the matchups," Auburn coach Bobby Reynolds said. "We've put ourselves against the wall and will have to win two tough matches to qualify for NCAAs.

"The guys just need to come out with a sense of urgency; when we do that, we play really well, and that energy will transition from the doubles to the singles."

Auburn's tentative lineup in singles: Max Hinnisdaels, Carles Sarrio, Conner Huertas del Pino, Olle Thestrup, Dante Saleh, Edward Nguyen; Doubles: Hinnisdaels/Huertas del Pino, Nguyen/Brandon Laubser, Saleh/Thestrup.

In the latest Oracle/ITA national rankings, Hinnisdaels and Huertas del Pino are ranked No. 19 nationally in doubles. Hinnisdales is ranked No. 57 in singles.

Auburn lost 4-0 at Ole Miss and 7-0 at Florida during the regular season.

Hosted by Tennessee, all SEC tournament action will take place at Barksdale Stadium and the Goodfriend Tennis Center in Knoxville. Admission is free.
