AUBURN, Ala. - Three new big men on campus are learning their way around Auburn University.
It's the first day of summer semester classes at Auburn for a trio of offensive linemen, freshman Calvin Ashley and graduate transfers Wilson Bell and Casey Dunn.
Bell, a 6-5, 320-pound guard, started 18 games the past two seasons at Florida State, including every game in 2015.
Dunn, a two-year starter at center at Jacksonville State, earned second team All-America honors.
"We're excited to add our two fifth-year transfers," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said. "I think they're going to help us and make an immediate impact."
Ashley, a 6-7, 330-pound tackle from Washington D. C., earned USA Today first team All-America honors in high school.
"Calvin Ashley has been a guy who we recruited for more than three years who we are very excited about," Malzahn said. "We're glad to have those three guys here as part of the program."
Malzahn also announced that two redshirt freshmen, defensive lineman Antwuan Jackson Jr. and defensive back Marlon Character Jr., will transfer.
"They've decided to move on," Malzahn said. "We wish them nothing but the best."
Receiver Kyle Davis, who averaged 20.7 yards per catch last season, has rejoined the team, Malzahn said. Davis did not participate in spring practice due to personal reasons.
While the new Tigers take part in classes and conditioning, Malzahn is spending much of May on the road at speaking engagements before summer camps start next month.
