AUBURN, Ala. - Former Auburn women's golfer Haley Wilson has been named the head women's golf coach at Samford University, the school announced last week.
Wilson competed for the Tigers from 2009-12. She helped Auburn to three SEC titles in 2009, 2011 and 2012, and was a 2009 All-SEC selection. As a Tiger, she had 12 top-20 finishes, including a top-10 finish at the 2010 SEC Championship.
Wilson was an assistant coach at UAB for the 2016-17 season, and served in a similar capacity at Campbell in 2015-16. In her one season with the Camels, she helped lead the team to a Big South Conference title.
Prior to that, she coached at Point University in West Point, Ga., for two seasons; she was assistant coach in 2013-14 and head coach in 2014-15.
A native of Phenix City, Wilson graduated from Auburn in 2012 with a degree in communications.
