AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn men's tennis team has its 2018 spring match-play schedule set, head coach Bobby Reynolds announced today.
The Tigers will host 17 matches at the Yarbrough Tennis Center, including home matches with SEC opponents South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Arkansas. Road SEC matches are at Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M.
"We have a lot of doubleheaders, which will be good for our team and allow all of our guys to play a lot of matches. With everyone playing, by the end of the non-conference schedule, we will have more depth and our guys will be match-tough and ready for SEC competition and then the postseason," Reynolds said.
Auburn will play tournament events at Harvard (with Penn State and Iowa State) in January and the 70th annual Blue-Gray National Tennis Classic in Montgomery in February. Alabama hosts the SEC championships April 25-28.
