DALLAS - The No. 13 Auburn men's golf team opens play in the Trinity Forest Invitational Sunday through Tuesday at the par 71, 7,302-yard Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas. Seven teams are nationally-ranked.
The 13-team field also includes No. 6 Texas, No. 8 Southern California, No. 9 Oregon, No. 10 Florida, No. 17 Clemson, No. 22 Texas Tech, No. 24 Pepperdine, Iowa, Kansas State, host SMU, Ball State and North Texas.
Auburn's lineup is the same that finished third in the season-opening Carpet Capital Collegiate. It consists of junior Trace Crowe, sophomore Jovan Rebula, freshmen Brandon Mancheno and Wells Padgett, junior Jacob Solomon and freshman Andrew Kozan, who will play as an individual.
"This is another great field that will give us experience," said Auburn head coach Nick Clinard. "We did very well in our season opening tournament, and I look forward to us improving at Trinity Forest."
Crowe, who as an All-SEC second-team selection last year, tied for third in the Carpet Capital while Rebula tied for 12th.
