AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn continues its fall women's golf season next week at the Magnolia Invitational, which runs Sunday-Tuesday in West Point, Miss.

The 18th-ranked Tigers will join 10 other teams at Old Waverly Golf Club (par 72; 6,320 yards) for the inaugural event, co-hosted by Ole Miss and Mississippi State. The Tigers, Rebels and Bulldogs will be joined by fellow SEC teams LSU and Tennessee, along with Augusta, Kansas State, Memphis, Southern Miss, Troy and UNLV.

Auburn looks to build on the momentum from a strong start at the Mason Rudolph Championship two weeks ago when the Tigers finished seventh at 857 (-7). Sophomore Elena Hualde earned an individual seventh-place finish at that event, finishing at 209 (-7), and senior Michaela Owen tied for 14th with three straight rounds under par.

Seniors Kelli Murphy and Owen will again occupy the top two spots in Auburn's lineup this week. Hualde and sophomore Kayley Marschke are third and fourth, and freshman Kaleigh Telfer makes her collegiate debut in the No. 5 spot. Junior Melanie Talbott will compete as an individual.

Telfer, from South Africa, was the No. 1-ranked women's player in South Africa before signing with the Tigers and is excited about playing in her first collegiate tournament in the United States.

"This has been a goal for me forever," Telfer said. "It was disappointing last time to see the team leave without me, but I'm excited and I can't wait to get it going."

Pairings and live scoring will be available at golfstatresults.com throughout the tournament. For the latest on Auburn women's golf, follow @AuburnWGolf on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
