The Auburn swimming and diving teams return to competition on Thursday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. CT for a dual meet against Texas at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center.
Auburn has not competed since early December after having a meet against Texas A&M canceled last week due to inclement weather. Auburn's men last swam at the Georgia Invitational the first weekend of December while the last women's competition was in mid-November at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
"We have been training hard since December 27th," head coach Brett Hawke said. "Texas is a top team, defending national champions on the men's side and the women are always top-10 in the country. I think it will be great for us to test ourselves against the best."
Texas comes into the meet ranked No. 2 on the men's side and No. 5 on the women's side while Auburn is No. 12 on the men's side and No. 14 on the women's side.
"This meet will feature some of the best swimmers in the country, and the world," Hawke said. "A lot of Olympians are swimming at this meet on both sides."
The women's 3-meter and men's 1-meter diving competitions will begin at 1 p.m.
Thursday's meet will air live on SECN+.
Admission is free.
