AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" The Auburn volleyball team (11-5, 4-3 SEC) heads to the state of Texas for a Sunday match, taking on Texas A&M, Oct. 15. The Tigers and the Aggies will square off at 1:30 p.m. CT in College Station and the match will be broadcast live on SEC Network+.

- The Auburn volleyball opened the weekend at home Friday night in Auburn Arena and fell to LSU in straight sets (25-23, 25-23, 26-24).
- Junior Brenna McIlroy led the match with 10 kills, while senior Courtney Crable added nine.
- A trio of Tigers in sophomores Gwyn Jones and Shaina White and freshman Anna Stevenson finished with seven kills apiece.
- Senior libero Jesse Earl had a match-high 19 digs to lead the Tigers.
- The Auburn back row ranks third in the SEC with a 15.88 digs/set average, while the team's 16.33 mark in conference-only play is No. 1 in the league.
- Earl is averaging 5.38 digs/set to rank first in the conference and is in the Top 25 in the nation. Her 6.33 digs/set in SEC play is also first in the league. She has totaled double-digit digs in all 16 matches this year.
- Setter Alexa Filley is among the best in the SEC in assists so far this season, ranking third overall with a 10.77 assists/set average.
- Auburn ranks third in kills against league foes, having a 14.00 average. And behind solid play from Filley, the team's 12.81 assists/set is also third.
- Sophomore Shaina White is third in the conference and Top 20 in the nation in hitting efficiency, having 164 kills on the year with a .414 attack percentage. She set a career-high at Tennessee (10/4) with 19 kills.
- With the assistance of the solid back row play, the Tigers are fourth with a .197 opponent hitting percentage in conference-only action.

SCOUTING TEXAS A&M
- The Texas A&M Aggies are 5-8 on the season with a 2-4 mark in SEC competition. The squad is coming off a three-set loss at No. 8 Kentucky Wednesday night.
- The Aggies were selected to finish fourth in the SEC according to the Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Sophomore Hollann Hans is fourth in the conference with a 3.89 kills/set average, while her 3.75 mark is also fourth in SEC-only matches.
- Hans also excels from the service line and is ranked fourth overall with a .43 aces/set average. She leads the team with 19 on the year.
- Senior Kiara McGee is second on the team with a 2.85 kills/set clip.
- Freshman setter Camille Conner leads the team with 386 assists on the year and is second on the squad with 11 service aces.
- Senior libero Amy Nettles is among the SEC best in the back row, having a 3.61 with 159 digs on the season.
