DICKSON, Tenn. - Auburn men's golf junior Ryan Knop leads the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate after 36 holes of play, carding a 5-under 72-67--139 Monday at the par-72, 7,000-yard Greystone Golf Club.
Knop is one of four Tiger individuals playing in the tournament hosted by Austin Peay State University.
Knop, a native of Pleasanton, Calif., holds a one stroke lead over Murray State's Austin Knight (73-67--140).
After tallying three birdies as part of an even-par opening round, Knop found his stroke in the second round doubling his first round birdie total with four on the front on Nos. 2, 5, 8 and 9 and two more on the back on Nos. 13 and 17 in a 5-under 67 performance.
Freshman Andrew Kozan currently sits in a tie for third at 1-under 71-72--143. The West Palm Beach, Fla. product had three birdies in each round for the day. Junior Graysen Huff (71-76--147) is t-14th and sophomore Reagan Harrell (75-73--148) is t-20th.
With just four individuals playing, Auburn is not competing as a team in the event. Knop and the Tigers will play the final round Tuesday beginning at 8:30 am CT.
