AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn men's golf debuted at No. 6 in the initial 2017-18 Golfstat Relative Rankings.
The Tigers are one of six SEC teams ranked in the top 10, and with an adjusted scoring average of 70.93, are ranked behind only Alabama, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma in the poll
Auburn has had a very successful fall, finishing in the top three in every event played this season, including a t-2 finish at the Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas and most recently a second place finish at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate.
Additionally, a Tiger individual has finished in the top-10 in each event played with freshman Brandon Mancheno leading the way twice with a t-3rd finish at the Trinity Forest Invitational and t-9th finish at the Jerry Pate National. Junior Trace Crowe tied for third at the season-opening Carpet Capital Collegiate while junior Ryan Knop was Auburn's top finisher at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate with a second-place finish.
Auburn will look to finish off the fall portion of the season strong at the Tavistock Invitational in Windermere, Fla. Oct. 22-24.
