AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn softball team will entertain its busiest weekend of the fall when it hosts four games over a two-day span, Oct. 20-21, at Jane B. Moore Field.

The Beat Bama Food Drive will continue all weekend and throughout the fall. Attendees who bring a non-perishable food item will receive a food coupon to use at a local Chick-fil-A.

The Tigers open the quartet of contests with a doubleheader Friday against Chipola CC at 3 p.m. CT and Wallace State CC-Hanceville at 5:30 p.m. CT. Auburn finishes the weekend Saturday versus Valdosta State at 3 p.m. CT and Snead State at 5:30 p.m. CT.

"I think we're looking good," junior infielder Casey McCrackin said. "We're adapting to the new coaches very well and their style of teaching."

McCrackin and the Tigers opened the annual fall slate with a pair of shutouts last Friday. Alyssa Rivera highlighted the offense with a home run.

Auburn will look to build on its training from practice and last weekend's performances.

"The main purpose of the fall games is to get better and improve in order to get ready for the spring season," junior outfielder Bree Fornis stated. "We're just looking for improvement this weekend."

Admission is free of charge for all fans during the entire fall schedule.

"It's definitely great to play in front of a huge crowd," Fornis said. "They're always there for us and willing to support us at any time, including the fall."
