AUBURN, Ala. -- Following Saturday's 49-10 win over Mississippi State, Auburn earned two Player of the Week honors from the SEC on Monday.
Quarterback Jarrett Stidham was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week along with Georgia running back Nick Chubb. Stidham went 13 of 16 for 264 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also completed four passes of 45 yards or more, including a 47-yard touchdown pass to Will Hastings in the second quarter.

Over this last three games, Stidham is completing 83 percent of his passes (58 of 70).
"That's something I really take pride in," Stidham said after Saturday's game. "I don't really want to throw it up in double- and triple-coverage just to throw it up and try to make a play. I want to throw it to the right guy against the right coverage.
"That's something I kind of hang my hat on, and one of my goals every week is to have a perfect completion game."
Joining Stidham was teammate Nick Coe, who was selected as the Co-Freshman Player of the Week. The redshirt freshman defensive lineman finished with six tackles, a half tackle for loss, and he led the Tigers with four quarterback hurries.
As a unit, the Auburn defense had five tackles for loss, two sacks and hurried the quarterback 11 times against Mississippi State. The Tigers are among the SEC leaders in points (11) and yards (259.2) allowed per game through the first five games.
