Auburn's Tyler Harris, Antoine Mason Selected in G-League Draft

NEW YORK - Auburn basketball alums Tyler Harris and Antoine Mason were both selected in the 2017 NBA G League Draft Saturday afternoon at the NBA's New York headquarters.

Harris was the first Tiger off the board as he was chosen by the Agua Caliente Clippers (Los Angeles Clippers) with the 25th pick in the first round. Mason was selected in the third round with the 24th pick by the Texas Legends (Dallas Mavericks).

Harris ranked 19th in the SEC averaging 13.9 points, ranked ninth in the SEC with 7.7 rebounds and sixth in offensive rebounds with 2.8 during his lone season as an Auburn Tiger. He had eight double-doubles, tying for fourth in the league and finished with 1,196 points in his career.

Mason averaged 14.4 points per game and shot 40.2 percent from 3-point range for Auburn after ranking second in the NCAA averaging 25.6 points per contest at Niagara in 2013-14. The Queens, N.Y., native finished his four-year career with 2,308 points.

Following the draft, 2017 alum T.J. Dunans also received a tryout invitation with the Wisconsin Herd (Milwaukee Bucks). The two-year Auburn player averaged 9.3 points per game and recorded 56 steals with 39 blocks. Dunans reached double figures in points 12 times during his final campaign with the Tigers.
