AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" The Auburn soccer team continues the middle portion of its SEC schedule with a fixture against Arkansas (6-6-1, 1-2-1 SEC) Thursday evening. Kickoff at the Auburn Soccer Complex is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
The game will be nationally televised on the SEC Network, and Jenn Hilldreth and Heather Mitts will have the call from the broadcast booth. The match will also be available on radio at WEGL 91.1, and admission to the Auburn Soccer Complex is free.
The Tigers (5-3-3, 2-0-2 SEC) are coming off a 0-0 draw at Mississippi State and have earned four straight results to start conference play this season.

Auburn holds a 15-7-2 advantage in the all-time series with Arkansas and has won 13 of the last 16 matchups with the Razorbacks dating back to the 2001 season.
The Tigers are 10-1-0 against Arkansas in Auburn with the lone loss against the Razorbacks at home coming in 1999.
The Auburn defense has allowed just one goal in the first four SEC games, marking the first time since 2004 and second time in program history the Tigers have accomplished the feat.
The D-Team ranks second in the league in goals allowed and goals against average while ranking tied for second in shutouts during SEC play. The unit hasn't allowed a goal in approximately 280 minutes dating back to a match at Tennessee (Sept. 21).
Auburn went 9-2-0 in SEC play a season ago and finished second in the league. The Tigers are 18-6-3 against conference foes over the last three seasons. That mark includes an 11-2-0 record at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
Auburn is 101-75-22 all-time in October. The Tigers have netted 345 goals (1.74 per match) and allowed 264 (1.33 per match). Over that span, Auburn has secured 72 shutouts, including 57 under head coach Karen Hoppa.
Senior forward Kristen Dodson was recently named a candidate for the 2017 Senior CLASS Award, marking the second straight season a member of the Orange and Blue has received the recognition.
Scouting Arkansas
Arkansas has posted a 1-2-1 record to start SEC play and is coming off a pair of tough losses against ranked opponents. The Razorback fell to No. 20 Ole Miss, 1-0, Sunday, Sept. 24 and dropped a 2-1 decision at No. 23 Texas A&M last Friday.
The SEC West foe leads the conference in shots per game (19.31) and total assists (34) while ranking second in the league in scoring offense (2.46), total goals (32) and total points (98) among other statistics.
Player to Watch: Sarah Houchin
Houchin has played a major role on the Auburn back line in her freshman season with the Tigers. The Dallas, Texas native has helped pace the Orange and Blue defense to five shutouts this season, including three in SEC play. Houchin is one of three members of the Auburn team and defensive unit that has played in every minute of every match this season.

Auburn heads to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for a showdown with Alabama Sunday at 5 p.m. CT. The Tigers will look to retain the Iron Bowl Trophy, which is awarded to the winner of the in-state rivalry each season.
