#3 Auburn vs. Ole Miss

AUBURN, Ala. -- The No. 3 Auburn equestrian team continues its homestand Friday and welcomes Ole Miss to the Auburn University Equestrian Center for an exhibition meet. The Tigers and the Rebels square off at 3 p.m. CT and admission is free.

"We're happy to have Ole Miss come to the equestrian center this weekend and are looking forward to a great crowd out there Friday," head coach Greg Williams said. "Friday's meet will be a great way for our fans to kick off a fun weekend on The Plains with the amount of family-friendly activities we have that go with our meets. It'll be a great weekend for us."

PROMOTIONS
It's Dog Day with the Paws & Claws club Friday! Fans who are a part of the new Auburn club are welcome to bring their dogs to the meet. And as always, there will be pony rides and the bounce house for kids in attendance.

AUBURN LINEUP
Auburn (1-0) will have a full lineup for three of the four events this Friday against Ole Miss.

Highlighting the starting lineup in Equitation Over Fences are seniors Caitlin Creel and Abby Wagner. Joining the pair is junior Kennedy Knapic, sophomore Anna Claire Smith, and freshman Emma Crosbie.

The Horsemanship lineup features a youthful squad for the Tigers. Freshmen Anna Enos, Deanna Green, and Taylor Searles will all ride in the event, while sophomore Sydney Hoffa and redshirt junior Kelsey Jung are also slated to compete.

A new lineup from Fences will represent Auburn in Equitation on the Flat as juniors Mackenzie Michaels and Casey Schmitz lead the young group. The duo will be joined by sophomores Becky Kozma and Lillian Wagner and freshman Helen Ulrich.

Reining will only have three riders on each squad compete. Green and Searles will go in the event with classmate Nicole Ellis joining them.

The Tigers take a couple weeks off before hosting nationally-ranked Baylor at the Auburn University Equestrian Center, Oct. 21. The non-conference meet is set for 11 a.m. CT and admission is free.
