Auburn Baseball 2018 Signing Class: Ryan Bliss

AUBURN, Ala. - The third member of the Auburn baseball program's 2018 signing class is Troup County (Ga.) High School middle infielder Ryan Bliss, head coach Butch Thompson and his staff announced Friday.

"Each of our recruiting classes has attracted great student-athletes and families evident by the national accolades received," Thompson said. "Auburn University is a powerful brand that competes in the most competitive league in America for our sport. The slogan of 'we get who we are' has served our program well."

The next member of the Tigers' class will be announced Monday.

AuburnTigers.com: What is your greatest accomplishment?

Ryan Bliss: My greatest accomplishment is having my peers nominating me as Senior Class President. Also, being able to maintain a 4.0 GPA as a student-athlete is something I take a lot of pride in.

AT: How do you see the decision to come to Auburn impacting your life?

RB: Getting a degree from Auburn will help me grow and set me up to be successful in life. Also, working with Coach Thompson and the staff will help me not only become a better baseball player, but also a better man.

AT: What is your favorite thing about baseball?

RB: I like all aspects of the game - from daily practices to games under the lights. When I'm on the field with my team, nothing else matters but trying to get a win.
