AUBURN, Ala. -- The fall women's golf season wraps up this weekend as Auburn heads to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, for the Battle at the Beach.

Baylor plays host to the 54-hole event that runs Friday-Sunday at Club Campestre (par 71; 6,209 yards), just a few miles north of Cabo San Lucas.

Auburn seeks a strong finish to the fall after several impressive individual performances through the first three tournaments. At least one player has earned a top-10 finish in each of the first three events: Elena Hualde finished seventh at the Mason Rudolph Championship in September; Michaela Owen tied for eighth at the Magnolia Invitational, and Kelli Murphy tied for sixth at last month's Maryb S. Kauth Invitational.

Owen enters the fall's final event with a team-leading 72.67 scoring average and five of her nine competitive rounds this fall at even par or better. Hualde is right behind Owen with a 73.00 average. Hualde and Murphy each have a 67 this season to tie for the team's low round of the year.

The Tigers will send out four of the same five from their last event with Owen, Hualde and Murphy taking the top three spots. Freshman Kaleigh Telfer plays in the No. 4 position, and sophomore Kayley Marschke returns to the lineup for the third time this fall in the No. 5 spot.

Top-ranked UCLA leads the 15-team field that features seven top-25 teams and 10 top-50 squads. No. 13 Texas, No. 20 Wake Forest, No. 22 Houston, No. 24 North Carolina and No. 25 Vanderbilt headline the tournament, followed by No. 31 Oklahoma, No. 36 Ohio State and No. 38 Auburn. Baylor, Mississippi State, TCU, Tulane and North Texas round out the field.

Pairings and semi-live scoring will be available at birdiefire.com throughout the tournament. For the latest on Auburn women's golf, follow @AuburnWGolf on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
