AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" Some would argue that Jarrett Stidham played his best game since he's been at Auburn in Saturday's Iron Bowl. The sophomore quarterback threw for 237 yards, rushed for 51 yards and scored the touchdown that all but sealed the deal against No. 1 Alabama. Every time the Tigers needed to make a play, he seemed to be the one to make it.

As a result, it's been a big week for Stidham when it comes to individual accolades.

Already named the SEC co-offensive player of the week, Stidham was one of eight quarterbacks selected by the Manning Award as a "Star of the Week." It's the second time he's received the honor this season ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" he was a "Star of the Week" after the Mississippi State game ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" and fans can now go vote for Stidham as the top performer from the past weekend.

When voting closes Thursday at 11 a.m. CT, the top vote-getter will be announced as the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week.

Stidham was also named The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week for the second time this season.

The award itself, which is given annually to the nation's outstanding offensive player who was either born in Texas, graduated from a Texas high school or played at a Texas-based junior college or four-year college, has already chosen Stidham as one of its semifinalists. The winner will be announced in January.
