AUBURN, Ala. âââہ¡¬ÃƒÆ’¢Ãƒ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã¢â‚¬Å“The Auburn volleyball team (13-8, 6-6) bookends a busy weekend on the Plains with a pair of SEC matches in Auburn Arena. The Tigers host Tennessee Thursday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. CT and conclude with a 1:30 p.m. CT contest Sunday, Nov. 12, against No. 7 Kentucky.
Both matches will be streamed on SEC Network+ and admission for all Auburn volleyball matches is free.

QUICK HITS
- Auburn held off Alabama Wednesday night, Nov. 1, to defeat the Crimson Tide, 3-2 (25-21, 25-14, 20-25, 23-25, 15-11), in Auburn Arena.
- Five Tigers finished with double-digit kills with sophomore Shaina White leading the way at 15.
- Junior Brenna McIlroy totaled 14, while sophomore Gwyn Jones had 12. Senior Courtney Crable and freshman Anna Stevenson finished with 10 apiece.
- Setter Alexa Filley had a match-high 51 assists to go with 13 digs for her 14th double-double of the season.
- Senior Jesse Earl led all student-athletes with 26 digs, while McIlroy had a season-best 19. Sophomore Karis Beasley added 10 digs for the Tiger defense.
- The Auburn back row ranks fourth in the SEC with a 15.63 digs/set average, while the team's 15.71 mark in conference-only play is third.
- Earl is averaging 5.05 digs/set to rank first in the conference and is No. 34 nationally. Her 5.35 digs/set in SEC play is also first in the league. She has totaled double-digit digs in 29 of Auburn's 21 matches this year.
- Setter Alexa Filley is among the SEC best in assists so far this season, ranking fourth overall with a 10.69 assists/set average.
- Filley is second on the team in digs this season with a 2.77 average. She is tied for second in the conference with 14 double-doubles (assists/digs) this year.
- S. White is fourth in the conference and No. 27 nationally in hitting efficiency, having 218 kills on the year with a .398 attack percentage.
- Auburn is averaging 1.32 aces/set overall and 1.29 against SEC-only opponents. That mark ranks second in both categories.
SCOUTING TENNESSEE
- The Tennessee Volunteers stand at 11-11 overall and 4-9 in the SEC following a pair of losses at home last weekend. The Vols fell to South Carolina Friday in four sets and followed with a 3-0 loss to nationally-ranked Florida Sunday.
- Junior Erica Treiber and sophomore Alyssa Andreno are two of the SEC's top blockers with Treiber ranking third at 1.30 blocks/set. Andreno is averaging 1.11 for the Vols.
- As a team, Tennessee is third in the conference with a 2.68 blocks/set average.
- Libero Brooke Schumacher is among the league's best in the back row, averaging 4.61 digs/set to come in at third.

- Give Auburn the sweep of the Volunteers in 2017.

SCOUTING KENTUCKY
- The No. 7 Kentucky Wildcats stand at 20-3 overall with an 11-1 mark in SEC competition. The team is coming off a split week last week, falling to No. 4 Florida in three sets before rebounding with a 3-1 win over South Carolina Sunday.
- The Wildcats rank first in the SEC in hitting percentage (.313), kills (14.71/set), and assists (13.35/set).
- Freshman setter Madison Lilley leads the conference and is eighth nationally with an 11.81 assists average.
- Sophomore Leah Edmond is second in the SEC in kills at 4.33/set, while her .35 aces/set is sixth.
- Senior middle blockers Emily Franklin and Kaz Brown are among the conference leaders in hitting percentage and blocks. Franklin's .424 clip is second in the league and 12th nationally.
