AUBURN, Ala. - Trussville, Ala., native and left-handed pitcher Carson Skipper is the latest member of Auburn's 2018 signing class to be announced by head coach Butch Thompson and the baseball coaching staff.

Carson Skipper: Auburn has always been a home for me. I've grown up an Auburn fan, and it has always been my dream school.
AT: How do you see the decision to come to Auburn impacting your life?
CS: Auburn is one of the best schools in the country, and having the opportunity to come here a student-athlete is very special. It will impact my life by providing me with a degree to fulfill my future career.
AT: What is your favorite thing about baseball?
CS: My favorite part about the game is getting the chance to compete every day. When I step on the mound, my mindset immediately becomes beating the guy at the plate.
