AUBURN, Ala. - After student requests more than doubled the 500-ticket allotment for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Auburn Athletics provided 750 additional tickets for Auburn University students to purchase for $50 each.

"Our students play an important role in Auburn's success," said Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs. "In appreciation for all they do, we wanted to make sure every Auburn student who wants to support our team in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl will be able to do so."

Champions of the SEC Western Division, the No. 7 Tigers play No. 12 UCF on New Year's Day at 12:30 p.m. ET in Atlanta.

Students who purchased tickets may pick them up on Jan. 1, beginning at 7:30 a.m. ET, at the Auburn will-call windows at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The first 500 student tickets will be in the stadium's lower level, with the remainder in the 300 level. Students will not be permitted to line up at the stadium campus before the windows open.

"What our team has accomplished this season is worthy of great celebration and fan support," Jacobs said. "Our players respond to the tremendous support from the Auburn Family, especially their fellow students. Never was that more evident than in our dominating regular season wins over Georgia and Alabama."

Auburn (10-3, 7-1) is making its fifth straight bowl appearance under Gus Malzahn. It's the Tigers sixth Peach Bowl appearance. Auburn's Peach Bowl record is 4-1, with victories in the 1990, 1997, 2007 and 2011 seasons.
