AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn men's tennis team (4-4) returns home Saturday for a doubleheader with Samford (2-4); matches are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
"These matches Saturday will give the guys a chance to bounce back after two close road losses," said Auburn coach Bobby Reynolds. "These are the matches to go out and play your tennis and build some confidence for the SEC season that starts in two weeks.
"We were close last weekend; the guys are right there. It just boils down to confidence and belief. We've done so much good work on the practice court. Now it's just clearing the mind and allowing your work to show."
The Tigers will use a variety of lineups in singles and doubles during the doubleheader, as they did in a previous doubleheader against Alabama A&M.
Free promotional items for fans at Saturday's matches include t-shirts, koozies and Auburn Tennis insulated tumblers. All home matches are at the Yarbrough Tennis Center (771 Yarbrough Farms Blvd., Auburn) and admission is free.
