AUBURN, Ala. - Coming off its program record fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Second Round, the Auburn soccer team announced its spring exhibition schedule Tuesday afternoon.
Head coach Karen Hoppa and the Tigers will compete in five matches this spring, including three at the Auburn Soccer Complex. All matches are free and open to the public.
Auburn kicks off its annual spring slate with a contest against Clemson on Saturday, Feb. 24. Kickoff at the Auburn Soccer Complex is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT.
The Tigers will then hit the road for a pair of matches at Troy and Tennessee on Saturday, Mar. 3 and Sunday, Mar. 25, respectively. The tilt at Troy will begin at 1 p.m. CT, and kickoff in Knoxville, Tenn., is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.
Auburn returns to The Plains to close out its spring schedule by hosting Samford on Thursday, Apr. 5 and Georgia on Saturday, Apr. 14. The matches will begin at 7:30 p.m. CT and 12 p.m. CT, respectively.
Auburn defeated both Georgia and Samford in fall exhibition matches last season. The team also battled to a draw at Tennessee and suffered a hard-fought overtime loss at Clemson.
