Auburn, Ala. -- The Auburn track and field team will be in action this weekend, competing at the Tiger Paw Invite in Clemson, S.C. A select group of sprinters will also be in action at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. Both meets will be held on Friday and Saturday.

Auburn is one of 19 teams competing at the Tiger Paw Invitational that will feature eight SEC programs. The meet will highlight 10 teams ranked in the USTFCCCA Indoor Top 25 rankings, while the Tyson Invitational will feature competition from nine ranked men's teams and six ranked women's teams. The Auburn men are currently ranked 24th in the latest rankings.

"The weekend is obviously very big for us for a couple of reasons," Auburn head coach Ralph Spry said. "First, it's our last chance to compete before the conference championships, and secondly, it's probably the biggest meet as far competition that we will have heading to SECs. We are looking to put some big marks up and keep the momentum and go into the SECs on a big note."

A larger contingent will be traveling to Clemson with 33 athletes scheduled to compete, 13 women and 20 men. It will mark the second time in three weeks that the Tigers have competed in Clemson. Two weeks ago at the same venue, Auburn racked up 21 personal bests at the Bob Pollack Invitational at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex.

Auburn will have six sprinters competing at the Tyson Invitational, including Raheem Chambers and Xavier Coakley on the men's side and Jenae Ambrose, Dominique Bullock, Jonielle Smith and Natalliah Whyte on the women's side.

The Tiger Paw Invitational begins Friday at 11 a.m. CT with the women's 60m hurdles, while the Tyson Invitational starts at 2:15 p.m. CT with the women's mile. Live results for the Tiger Paw Invite can be found here , while results for the Tyson Invitational can be found here .
