AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" Dodging raindrops, the Auburn men's tennis team fell 4-0 at No. 38 Alabama Sunday afternoon at the Alabama Tennis Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama's two ranked doubles tandems captured the doubles point for the Crimson Tide with a 6-3 win on court two and a 6-4 victory on court one.

The Crimson Tide won straight set victories on courts six (6-0, 6-0) and one (6-1, 6-3) to take a 3-0 match lead. At that point, rain moved the match indoors and Alabama's Zhe Zhou won 6-4, 6-2 over Auburn freshman Tad Maclean on court three to clinch the match.

The Tigers are now 9-10 overall and 0-4 in SEC action. Alabama is 11-4 overall and 1-4 in SEC play.

Auburn is back in action at home next weekend, hosting No. 21 Kentucky Friday at 6:00 p.m. and No. 20 Vanderbilt and Alabama State in a Sunday doubleheader at 1:00 and 4:30 p.m. All Auburn home matches are played at the Yarbrough Tennis Center (771 Yarbrough Farms Blvd., Auburn), and admission is free.
