AUBURN, Ala. - No. 10 Auburn softball heads to Oxford, Miss. for a three-game series Friday through Sunday at the Ole Miss Softball Complex. All games will be broadcasted on SEC Network .

Friday's game begins at 6 p.m., Saturday begins at 4 p.m. and the series finale begins Sunday at 1 p.m. All times Central.

The Tigers enter the contest at 31-6, 5-4 SEC while Ole Miss comes in at 16-12, 2-7 SEC.

Player to Watch: Kaylee Carlson

  • Carlson has proven once again this season to be among the nation's elite. Her 0.62 ERA ranks third nationally and she has been part of the 1-2 punch with Makayla Martin that has led Auburn to a team ERA of 0.88, which trails only Oklahoma (0.80) for the national lead. Carlson has 60 wins in her Auburn career and needs just two more to tie the Auburn record.

Quick Hitters:

  • A win by Auburn would give the Tigers their eighth-straight series and 15th overall series win over the Rebels. It would also be the Tigers' seventh-straight win of the season.
  • The Tigers and Rebels have met 60 times in program history with Auburn holding a 43-17 advantage, including a 24-5 mark in games played in Oxford. Auburn took 2-of-3 from the Rebels in their last meeting in April of 2017 in Auburn. The Tigers have won the last seven series against Ole Miss and has never lost a series in Oxford. The last time the Rebels won a series was March 17-18, 2007.
  • Auburn is 8-2 in their last 10 games played, which includes back-to-back series wins over ranked SEC opponents. Kaylee Carlson and Makayla Martin have split six of those wins between the pair with 3-1 records. Carlson tallied a 0.64 ERA for the stretch. The Tigers' offense has also gotten things going lately as the team has tallied 10 homers over the 10-game stretch. Casey McCrackin led the charge with three long ball shots and a .400 batting clip.
  • Senior Kaylee Carlson and junior Makayla Martin each rank in the top-10 in career wins at Auburn. Carlson is just two wins away from tying the school record of 62 career wins.
  • Auburn's 19 shutouts this season are tied for the third-most in program history.
  • Senior Kaylee Carlson has posted a 1.46 ERA in her three-year career at Auburn. That is by far the lowest in program history and is 0.31 better than the second-lowest (Kristin Keyes - 1.77). Her ERA stacks up with the very best of active NCAA pitchers as it ranks fifth nationally in career ERA and third among SEC pitchers.
  • Victoria Draper holds the national lead with 35 stolen bases this season (35-of-39). Her 0.95 stolen bases per game ranks third in the nation. The senior was 18-of-20 in her career prior to this season with a previous career-high nine steals on 10 attempts last season. Her 53 career steals rank second in program history. Her 35 stolen bases is a single-season school record.
