AUBURN, Ala. - No. 20 Georgia topped Auburn 6-1 in SEC men's tennis action Sunday afternoon at the Magill Tennis Complex in Athens.

Auburn's Brandon Laubser won his first set on court six by a 6-4 score over Alex Phillips, but the Bulldogs took the first set in the other five matches and clinched the match with wins on courts four, two and one to clinch the match.

Laubser eventually won his match with a 10-7 advantage in a third-set super tiebreaker give the Tigers a team point. Georgia had previously taken the doubles point with wins on courts two and three.

The Tigers are now 10-14 overall and 0-8 in SEC play. Georgia is now 10-8 overall and 3-6 in the SEC.

The Tigers close out the home season Friday, April 6, vs. #40 Ole Miss and Sunday, April 8, vs. #43 Arkansas and Alabama A&M, which will be Senior Day. All Auburn home matches are held at the Yarbrough Tennis Center (771 Yarbrough Farms Blvd., Auburn), and admission is free.
