AUBURN, Ala. - The No. 20 Auburn women's tennis team will be hosting its final home stand of the regular season this weekend, taking on No. 32 Texas A&M and No. 39 LSU at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
The Tigers will square off against Texas A&M for Senior Day on Friday, April 13, at 6 p.m., with Senior Day presentations beginning at 5:25 p.m. Auburn will then face LSU at noon on Sunday, April 15, for the final regular season match.
Texas A&M is 15-7 and 5-6 in SEC play. The Aggies have one ranked singles player, one ranked doubles tandem and have notched two wins against ranked opponents this season.
LSU is 13-8 and 4-7 in SEC play. The Tigers boast four ranked singles players, one ranked doubles tandem and have accumulated three ranked wins this season.
Auburn is 18-9 on the season and 6-5 in SEC play. After winning both matches on the road over Missouri and Arkansas last week, the Tigers will look to close out the regular season on a high note.
Auburn's three seniors have had successful spring campaigns to date. Alizee Michaud leads the group, going 14-5 in singles and 9-9 in doubles, with most of her action coming at the one spot in both levels of competition. Andie Dikosavljevic is currently 11-5 in singles and undefeated in doubles at a mark of 6-0. Mary Kathrine Lewis won her lone singles match along with claiming both of her doubles matches.
The Tigers next action will be in the SEC Tournament, which will take place from April 18 through April 23 in Knoxville, Tenn.
